Minimally Invasive Retrosigmoid Approach

Performing a safer surgery with low invasiveness is most suitable for a modern society.
Retrosigmoid approach(RSA) has many advantages. RSA need short operation time, can preserve hearing, and has no size limitation for tumor removal. But, brain retraction and unfamiliar procedure precludes neurotologist to perform this useful approach.
Using the endoscope can overcome these obstacles and enable this approach without brain retraction. Especially, for the otorhinolaryngologist and Neurotologist who are used to handling endoscopes, Endoscopic assicted minimally invasive retrosigmoid approach is not difficult bur preferable.
