The objective of this report was to review vocal cord flat cyst which has severe inflammation with capillary ectasia. Patients who have this type of vocal cord cyst represented unilateral vocal fold mucosal injection and flat cyst through laryngoscopy. This type of cysts are speculated with duct on free margin of vocal fold or keratinoma formation of vocal fold But the origin of this type of cyst is debatable. We present 5 cases which were represented a cyst with severe inflammation of vocal fold. The treatment of choice was laryngeal microsurgery and it showed complete recovery of inflammatory vocal fold. Our case report is very attractive with inflammatory vocal cord cyst.
