¸ñÀû: Benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV) is one of the most common
dizziness disease that occur in vestibule and its causes are known in a
wide variety of ways. Ischemia of vestibule is one of them and present
study was focus on the platelet (PLT) indices, including mean platelet
volume (MPV), platelet distribution width (PDW), and platelet crit (PCT)
that may indicate a risk of ischemia. ¹æ¹ý:From January 2021 to March 2021, a retrospective review was performed on
39 patients diagnosed with BPPV through vestibular nystagmography (VNG).
For each PLT indices, a comparative analysis was conducted with 27
patient controlled group. °á°ú:In BPPV patient, there was no significant finding that the comparative
analysis of PLT, MPV, PDW, PCT between study group and control group.
Rather, the control group showed PDW higher than the study group. °á·Ð:Ischemia of vestibule is one of the causes of BPPV, but it is still
difficult to prove its causality. Using PLT indices, present study tried
to identify the potential of ischemia in vestibules and the resulting
BPPV incidence, but failed to obtain a something new. |
